Hey there Fashion Friend!

I’m Roshan Isaacs; ex Broadcast Media Mogul turned Fashion Fabulous Extraodinnaire and founder of Style Africa.  I created this platform by Africans, for Africans, to celebrate the vast pool of talent within Africa – from established, well-known designers, to up-and-coming young talents. Here you won’t only find Creatives from within the design and textile sphere, but also local artists from the music, tv and film industries.

The team behind Style Africa are pooled together from our fashion network. We are a diverse group of South African Creatives with a wide range of experience and expertise that encompass tv, radio, film, magazines, advertising, marketing, design, e-commerce, production, graphic design, photography, makeup artistry, styling etc – all of which is reflected in the content we produce. See our services here!

Style Africa’s content is geared towards YOU – the aspirational and established South African seeking style and beauty in an authentically African nature. With diversity at its core, Style Africa prides itself in featuring fashion from the multitude of cultures, ethnicities and traditions that make our continent so uniquely inspiring. A true reflection of the Style Africa tagline – Your Style~Your Identity .

We Collaborate To Creatively Inspire

We enjoy creating opportunities for all in the design and creative space to prosper. This is where collaborative projects allow us to express our individual style rather than sticking to a corporate, tv or magazine spec. Rules?! What rules?! There are no rules here. The confinement of rules when working for a company doesn’t always allow creatives to express their personal style. Style Africa welcomes collaborations where everyone is able to play, take risks, and show the world your creative signature. We know that we don’t all fit into the same box. Self expression is encouraged in order to create a truly AFRICAN identity in our fashion and beauty mediums. We’ve worked with a bunch of AWESOME people: students, professionals, corporates, institutions, artists, designers and more…

No Memo – previously known as Oh Voila has been around since 2010 and now has fans worldwide and is available in hundreds of shops in over 20 countries.

No Memo helps women earn a living by making our one-of-a-kind bracelets and necklaces.  We support local people, empower them, encourage them by giving them the space to do things their own way. This freedom lets them help themselves and their communities.

Want to know what else makes us unique? We use materials that are locally produced. This means everything from the casting of the beads to the weaving of the ribbons to the printing and packaging. We’re also eco-friendly.   It’s about involving people, inspiring others, and ignoring that well-walked path. Find your own way. Roadtrip into the beyond. #supportlocal #shopnomemo
