SA Fashion Week A/W’15 Collections Continue As Scheduled

“Life comes first for the South African Fashion Week – due to the unforeseen storm of such proportion on Thursday evening, the shows scheduled for Thursday, 16 October were postponed for the safety of everyone with us at SA Fashion Week” says Lucilla Booyzen, Director of SA Fashion Week.

The remainder of the SA Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 Collections will still continue according to the programme.

SA Fashion Week apologises for any inconvenience caused, yet the decision of ‘safety first’ had to be made. Structural engineers and industry experts were brought in to assess the marquee where the runway shows take place, and due to the force of the wind it was decided to postpone the running order of the night to ensure the safety of all ticket-holders.

Please note that Friday and Saturday shows will continue to run as per the SAFW A/W’15 programme. The line-up scheduled for Thursday, 16 October will simply be rescheduled for Sunday, 19 October 2014.

The line-up for Sunday, 19 October is as follows:

17h30 for 18h00 |Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs; Mantsho by Palesa Mokubung

18h30 for 19h00 | Clive by Clive Rundle

19h30 for 20h00 | Leigh Schubert

20h30 for 21h00 | Skip Love What You Wear Collection Featuring Colleen Eitzen & Rubicon

All media members that have already been allocated tickets for Thursday’s shows will be issued with new tickets for their attendance on Sunday. All media that have previously received confirmation of attendance for Thursday’s programme can collect their re-issued tickets at the media desk on arrival this Sunday.
