Mohammad Rawoot has been designing under the radar for a good few years now. Style Africa thought it a good time to show off the amazing talent of this couture designer, whose designs include exclusive wedding gowns, matric ball dresses and couture collections.
M-Couture consists of three labels; Rock Couture for cocktail fashion, Aura for the modest fashionista and M-Couture for Bridal and evening wear. Known for his use of luxurious fabrics and exquisite detailing Mohammad presented a monochrome collection under his Aura label at the 2016 Red Carpet Fashion Show.
Mohammad describes his collection;
I used a monochrome palette and played around with texture and light. The color Black and White compliment each other, like the yin and yang and in this regard I used the positive connotations of both these colours – white for peace, innocence and purity, and black for beauty, strength,confidence and mystery… each garment resonating an aura of light. The Embellishments echoed an alluring presence of luxury, quality and a sophisticated style.
